How to sow

Support the bees

With the Gisou Flower Seeds Set

The Mirsalehi Honey Bees are at the core of who we are and what we do at Gisou. We strive to give back to them as much as they give to us. Bees are the most important pollinators in the world yet unfortunately, the bee populations are in decline. Many factors contribute to this decline, including; climate change, pesticides and habitat destruction.

  • This year, starting on World Bee Day between May 20 - August 21 2021, you will receive a free Gisou Flower Seeds Set with every order, whilst supplies last. Welcome honey bees to your garden, terrace or rooftop with this diverse mix of wildflowers and support the pollination cycle.

Planting these flower seeds will mean you have not only helped the bees continue to play their critical role in the ecosystem but also helped to provide honey bees with their main source of food - Wildflowers!

    • Flowers will provide honey bees Nectar which is their main source of food.
    • Planting flower seeds will ensure honey bees have a continuous source of pollen.
    • Honey bees pollinate each flower which in return enables plants to reproduce.
    • Contribute to maintaining the ecosystem.

    Go in search of nectar.

The honey bee pollinates each plant whilst collecting nectar and pollen.

Once pollinated, plants will reproduce. This is how our food is produced.

For best results, follow these sowing instructions and in a few weeks you (and the bees!) will be able to enjoy the colourful and fragrant flowers in your garden!
